Growing Japanese bonsai tree is easier and not complicated than its looks. Like other bonsai tree, Japanese bonsai tree is also need sufficient lighting and moisture, right soil and its mixture and good container with adequate space for its root. However, to grow healthy Japanese bonsai tree, it is require some technique to apply. There are some techniques to grow healthy Japanese bonsai tree, although some of the technique is common technique in growing bonsai.Japanese bonsai tree by using copper wire or aluminum wire. Copper wire is generally use by professional bonsai grower and not recommended for beginners due to it was tougher to difficult to manipulate than aluminum wire. Copper wire is very useful when we want to twist or bend a thick or hard trunk and branches. Different with copper wire, aluminum wire is easier to use and softer than copper wire. Aluminum wire is much recommended for beginner in bonsai cultivation due to this wire won’t give much damage to your tree if you make some error on wiring your bonsai. This wire is not used for rigid and hard branches or trunk

2. Pruning. Pruning is method to maintain the shape of your Japanese bonsai tree by removing unwanted branches that cover the style you preferred and to courage a growth of new part from your Japanese bonsai tree. After pruning, the viewers will appreciate the beauty of your bonsai basic design.

3. Trimming. Trimming is a technique to remove unwanted parts from you bonsai and well know as defoliation. Different with pruning, trimming is a technique to remove unwanted leaves with a scissors. Trimming must be done behind the leaves. You should protect your bonsai from harsh condition or climate and supply its need properly especially water. Middle of summer is the best time to do trimming. You should remove 60 to 90 percent of the entire leaves population by trimming. You should leave some leaves on the tree so that tree could produce its food and not losing energy which necessary for its growth.

4. Repotting. This technique is method to change your bonsai pots that will help your Japanese bonsai tree grow healthily. Repotting have purpose to prevent bound on your bonsai root. Limited and inadequate space for your Japanese bonsai tree growth is a main reason why your bonsai have root bound. When there is no adequate space and soil for roots to grow, the root become restricted and can’t perform their function anymore and this condition could make your bonsai starve and could lead to death if you not take action immediately.

Repotting must be done on early of spring and you need to stay carefully when repotting to avoid damaging your Japanese bonsai tree roots. To prevent or avoid damaging the roots, you should use appropriate tools and follow the step of repotting procedure. In addition, when you’re repotting your Japanese bonsai tree you should already prepare the necessary tools so you could perform repotting as quickly as possible in proper way to avoid drying on your Japanese bonsai tree roots.
